I made a 12-page comic book for an annual art gallery show here in Columbus called Comics vs. Art. My good friend Canada Keck works hard every year to put it on. She curates a group of paintings, and each cartoonist chooses one to comment on. Here’s the painting I chose, “Eclipse of the Sun” by George Grosz. It’s an apocalyptic depiction of Germany in the mid 1920s:
